Another two weeks gone just like that. So weird how time goes by so quickly yet so slowly these days.
Not too much finding my mailbox of late, but that's been expected given the circumstances. Really trimming down on pickups and having to pass up some cards I'd love to add to my collection, but it is what it is.
I have picked up some stuff here and there for my 2003-04 master collection, but I'm waiting to show off things until I'm caught up on making my set maps, which will likely take quite some time. One of these months maybe. LOL
Starting slowly, this one FINALLY arrived after around a two-month wait. It goes nicely with the Platinum Blue /25 version I already had. Also, notice how poorly cut the card is...very slanted. Might have to pick up another down the road, though that isn't a big priority by any means.
Amazingly, I am still waiting on a package to arrive since the first week of March...10 weeks already. Even worse, the guy hasn't received from me, and somehow mine is the MOST RECENT package he is waiting for. HOW?!?!?!
Another Boqvist addition, got this one to replace my other copy since it had a minor scratch on it. This copy is in very nice shape! Still need to grab the Exclusives /100, but definitely want to wait for the price to come down more around what the Clear Cut goes for.
Next, a couple of pretty Slavin parallels from OPC Platinum!
The Matte Pink is still definitely my favorite, but the Orange Checkers is a doozy in person as well. Not sure if I like the Sunset or not...it definitely is nice, but I feel like they got a bit overhyped for their looks early on. Definitely nice, but didn't blow me away. The Matte Pink is much stronger between the new base parallels in my mind, but I also haven't seen a single Slavin Pond Hockey yet, so maybe that will take the cake...doubt it though.
This time's runner-up is another older memorabilia card from myriadlim!
And the champion of the post...
Dzingel 30th Anniversary Buybacks? Done! This was his only UD base card prior to this season, so it's the only buyback he has. Was fortunate to find it and pick it up for a reasonable price.
Stay tuned for the next post...got a big-time card for my PC in the mail today from a trade, but haven't scanned it yet. You won't want to miss next time's Lineup! :laugh:
