Two set finishers today
Great mail day today, both cards won last week 1 day apart. Days like this don't happen often for set collectors.
1st up card # 7 of a 14 card set that was made into a 15 card set with the release of an update in the Superlative Update release earlier this year, I got lucky & landed one quick after release. I show it along with the others when I do a set thread later.
2017 Superlative - Super Teams - ST-07 - 1959-60 Montreal 1/9
2nd card I've been after for some time, I've only seen one & could not talk the seller down. After PM's back & forth he lowered the price a tad, it was still too high for my budget. Last week he did add "best offer" option, I made 3 offers all turned down, no counter offers. Then E-Bay had a 15% off coupon last week, I contacted the seller again, made a final offer just $25 under his BIN price, he accepted, I paid using my 15% off coupon. Still overpaid but it's done & who knows where the others are & if they ever show up for sale.
2014 ITGU - Masked Men - MM-05 - Jacques Plante
I do have both sets framed & will do set S&T's a little later.
