I went to the card shop today for an NBA All-Star Game party they were having and I was greeted at the door with a redemption that had returned. I just pulled it recently (see this thread) and was impressed by the fast turnaround for a change. However, upon inspection, I wondered why it took him so long to get the cards back to UD with the half-as...um, half-hearted signature on the card. Here it is (sorry about the crappy pic, cell phone cam is all I have at the moment):

I looked at it a little closer and saw it was serial numbered 029/999:

My first thought was WOO HOO, JERSEY NUMBER, since it matched the jersey number in the photo. Later, I realized he changed his number to 28 before the regular season, so it may not be jersey numbered. I get lost trying to keep track of these things. :|

Anyhow, I'm happy with the card. :D

I'm still waiting for the Barber redemption from the same break and I'll post it when (if?) it returns. The Johnson is FS/FT, comments are welcome and as always, thanks for the read!

nice

I have a jordy nelson that I have yet to redem if that turnaround is that fast maybe I will

The jersey number can be tricky. Sure it matches the jersey he was wearing on the card but if he changed his number before the season started then technically, it's not his jersey number.

I pulled a couple of his autos and they are exactly like yours, 'CJ'. You'd think, early in his career, he'd be able to sign his whole name :|

Congrats on getting your redemption so fast.
