I just broke a few boxes of 06/07 SP authentic and pulled a redemption for a EVGENI MALKIN
06/07 SP AUTHENTIC HOCKEY AUTO FUTURE WATCH LIMITED PATCH VARIATION # TO 100
:)WooooHooooo... So I thought....
I redemed it and got this..

That's one thing that confused me... I got a replacement for an 05/06 Eric Nystrom Ultimate RC Patch Parallel in 2007, and my replacement was an 06/07 Nigel Dawes Ultimate RC Patch Parallel... it was about 3 months after 06/07 Ultimate came out. I figured things like this were going to happen.
 
The point of having a deadline for the redemption is for UD to ALSO buy into the fact that people might redeem later on through that time frame, and they should ensure those redemptions are kept aside. They are the ones that say they use "older, unredeemed" product for replacements... well, it's time to stick to that and guarantee a person redeeming an older product that the item will be available. Ridiculous.
 
WOW!!!! I'd would be so ticked off if in your shoes....

Not that it helps with the obvious problem, but I would certainly be on the phone working my way up the UD chain until you get conirmation of a decent and acceptable replacement for that....and YES, they can tell ya in advance of what they will send you...My rep has called me on a few occassions to ask in advance on my willingness to take a specific card as a replacement!

what a burn job that is it makes you wonder if it was a nobody rookie (and not one of the hottest players on the planet) if UD response would be the same.

I was able to Speak with Barry today at UD. Great guy. He put in the replacement order for me.
We will see what the redemption folks actually send.
Cross your fingers for me folks..

Columbus Day is a bogus government holiday, but regular businesses, including Upper Deck should be open.

i hope they give u something really really good. man this is just plain old wrong. i would be so mad. :|:eek: i am at work on thanksgiving :(
