So my LCS has had this lonely looking box of 11-12 SPA sitting on the shelf since sometime last year. They've had it marked down to cheap (about $40 less than than this year's stuff) for a long time. Good price.... maybe a RNH FW ?? After considering it for months, I finally bought it.
Did I pull anything nice? Of course I did. Otherwise I wouldn't be posting this thread
This was back in July. I pulled a redemption card, and it had expired in June! I did get a hold of Upper Deck. Asked about it, and they told me they'd honor redemption up to a year after they expire....... and my card was in stock!
It took them a while, but I just got it in today. This hard signed beauty:
Yup.... Orr, Esposito, Bucyk SOTT triple! Numbered 7/25
Not sure what I'll do with the card yet. Really nice pull, but doesn't really fit my collection. I would consider selling it, or trading it. How much cash? I don't know. I'm probably going to shoot for the moon on eBay shortly. For trade? If you've got Group A or B autos from Edmonton Oilers collection.... let's talk Could be convinced to trade for something similar, but Oilers related (something that includes Gretzky). If anyone has been hunting for this card - LMK if you do want to work something out.
If I end up hanging onto it, that's okay too. Really nice card.
