UD Redemption Replacement (for the 3rd time!!)

Received these 2 replacements today.

I can only assume that the following item was in place of this redemption pulled only a month ago:

Oh well - you could have gotten a solid patch with the future watch also.
I am happy with the Zetty.


And now for the one that has been a pain in my hiney for 18 months.

BRENT SUTTER / BRIAN SUTTER / DARRYL SUTTER
2007-08 SP GAME USED HOCKEY TRIPLE SIGnificance # to 10 CD# TS-SSS

This one has been a real sore spot - the first replacement they sent me was woefully inadequate - a Leafs triple auto #/25 of 2 players no longer in the league and a nobody. Sent back and had to wait for 3 months for it to be put back in my account.

Then re-requested a replacement - showed shipped for 60 days and it was a no-show (first ever from UD). Had to sign the affidavit and get it back in my account and wait some more!!!!

This finally came today:

08/09 OPC Premier Dynasty Duos Orr / Esposito #/100.

I am not sure if a trade for a triple auto #/10 is fair based on it being Orr or not. What says everyone?????

The Orr is available - the Zetty is not.

I think you came out ahead with the Zetty patch for sure... don't think the same about the Orr auto though. Sure it's Orr but a triple auto is almost always better especially such a low numbered one.

I would definitely take the Orr/Espo over the 3 Sutters. Unless you really needed it for PC, then it will be easier to move the Orr. Yes just send it to me in LOndon!!!1

You might have come out a touch either way on the Orr for the triple but the difference is so minor I would say even all the way. Sales wise the SPGU triples aren't that hot and the combination isn't the greatest either in terms of demand. There is on the other hand always demand for Orr. All in all I'd say it's one of the best even up swaps I've seen in a long time. Now the Zetty on the other hand was well in your favor in my opinion.

i think you cam out ahead.the Zetty is fair for the Shultz,although a nicer swatch would be nice.still though,i don't see any Conne Smythe awards in Shultz's future.also,it would take ALL the Sutter brothers,ALL their kids and ALL their kids kids to beat out anything to do with Orr.and i think thats the only Orr Espo dual auto available,could be wrong.

Assuming the Sutter trio would not have been a PC card for you, I would say that you came out ahead, Bruce. You shouldn't have any trouble moving the Orr/Espo for something that you need, and further, the print-run on the Hank (which was not included on the SP checklist) is very deceiving...I believe that's just the 5th copy that I've seen since UD started handing them out as replacements.

It's somewhere between fair and in your favour, Bruce.
- They might've replaced a #/10 with a #/100, but they did so with something of very decent value. I'd be a little honked at not having the Sutter Brothers multiplayer card....but only a little.

- The Schultz swapout was more than fair IMHO.

Personally I'd be happy, that is a very sweet Zetterberg card and bonus on the Orr auto. His auto alone outvalues a lot of triples.

I think you did well and you should be able to get good value and pick up a nice PC card or two for the Orr/Espo.

For a frame of reference - here is the card I got as a replacement for that same Sutter Triple...

I think I did alright with mine as well.
