UD Redemptions & Replacements, Wow! 3/5

FED EX stopped by and dropped off a package from Upper Deck. The pack had two SPA MacKinnon autos and a Masterpieces Tavares auto that I knew were coming.

What made this exciting was that I had asked Upper Deck to replace five old redemptions that I gave up on ever getting. UD asked me what players or teams I wanted but that does not always work out as seen in other posts to this site. I gave them the name of a player and then mentioned the Blackhawks since they have had a very nice run the past few years. More than pleased with the results:

Now to the interesting part. I had five redemptions that I asked to be replaced. I will trade these five cards for the three I received any day.

the five were

2 x SPA retro Tarasenko
SPx Pastrnak base auto
Trilogy Monahan auto puc
Showcase Granlund RPA

The three I received:

UD came through with a couple of nice Blackhawks autos







And the specific player I had asked for!

Cards may be from prior years but that is okay with me and all on card autos as well!

You've done much better with those replacements than just about any I've seen from UD in recent memory. Now remove that horseshoe, wash it off and pass it around to someone else in line for replacements. :laugh:

I still have his Future Watch auto coming in for my set. Plus I have a Panini auto of him already.

The retro cards were nice, but not my favorites, so giving up the two was okay and I was so, so tired of waiting on him to sign.

Basically on the five cards I asked to be replaced I was just fed up with the wait and none of the cards were PC, so I was just glad to get them off the list of outstanding redemptions. I still have 24 with UD and 1 from Topps. All but one of these I want for my collection so the wait continues.
