UD Replacement...what a joke of a company!

Been waiting over a year and a half for SPa Okposo/Kessel dual auto plus a bunch of other Okposo RC items: SPa RC Auto/Patch, OPC Gold Spectrum Auto/Patch /25, Ultimate RC Auto /399. Weird thing is everything else of his was signed and released.

I got sick of waiting, so I asked for a replacement of the SPa Okposo/Kessel dual auto to see what they would send. I told them I only collect Islander rookies and I already every Okposo and Bailey rookie and other card theirs, I was on this years including Tavares, MacDonald and a few others. No, I was expecting Tavares RC for this card.

But I ended up with a Trilogy Okposo/Bailey clearcut combos auto, something I picked up on ebay several months back for 4 bucks. This isnt a fair trade whatsoever and now what do I do about my other high dollar items? Thoughts and comments welcome, but I so glad it isnt just UD next season.
 
UD doesnt look at sale value. at least i dont think they do. a dual auto for a dual auto is probably pretty fair. were you expecting something specific?
 
It's Okposo for gosh sakes. You can't get gold for that. Like you said you paid $4 for a dual auto with him on it. So I think the rest of your cards are going to get the same if you replace them as Okposo is not that great IMO
 
Its the Okposo that bugs me, it is the Bailey that drops the value. Dont ask, but everything that he signs is worthless, maybe bc he will became and is nothing. I would of preferred anything from just Okposo or even Andrew MacDonald, also I told them I had all the Okposo/Bailey dual autos.
 
If you're that unhappy with what I, and it seems most others, call a fair replacement then send it back and take the $4 loss.

UD can't give you EXACTLY what you want. You asked for Isles rookies and got Isles rookies.
 
UD replacements don't make sense to me in my mind but that is just my 2 cents

I seen some loop sided ones for both sides (UD and buyer)...
 
imo you did better than the okposo/kessel. while it stinks as you already have the card, you specified okposo as your main interest and isles rookies. the card they gave you included okposo, a dual auto (like the one you redeemed), and another islander rookie. on top of that, its on plexi and is more limited than your SPA dual auto would've been. i'd say UD did their best to try and accomodate you.

This. I don't think UD is really in the wrong here.
 
Last question and will let this die, what is your opinions I would end up with for the Okposo - SPa RC Auto/Patch, OPC Gold Spectrum Auto/Patch /25, Ultimate RC Auto /399?

Basically you guys are saying I will get Josh Bailey's in return...argh!!! Which I already have and paid 1/10 what I paid for the Okposo's.
 
Also still waiting on my BAP Tavares /99 from earlier this year and have been told since May, they are making these great replacement auto/jsy cards and I will have within a month, 3 months later...I ended up buying a redeemed one from ebay. I just hate redemptions, if you dont have it, dont include it.

How can you blame UD? You asked for Islander cards and I can assure that if the Okposso/Kessel had been made you could have picked that up on ebay for $4 as well. BAP Tavares is on the street as I have a copy. Given UD a friendly call to see if it was lost in shipping unless of course you redeemed it through a redemption centre and then one never knows where the card ended up.
 
I know a friend of mine who had a Okoposo Future watch auto Pach redeemed and requested a replacement. HE ended up with a Crosby Ice scripts from 08-09

I think the replacement is fair. There's a clear difference between it being an unfair vs. not what you wanted.
