UD Ultimate question

Hey everyone!

I swear I can hear most of you groaning "Ugh, he's not going to ask when this set is going to be released, is he?" No, that's not the question I had in mind. I was just wondering if an updated checklist of Ultimate has been released? The last one I saw was a few months old, had lots of TBD cards listed, and took FOREVER to load onto my computer screen. If anyone could help me out, that would be great.

Oh, and one last thing, when is UD Ultimate going to be released?

Not yet. They're still trying to finalize a few things for packout.

And the word from on high (i.e. Joe Fallon et al) is possibly early MAY now.

Good lord - I wish the UD guys would definitively tell us what's going on - I'm a lot more apt to believe Q right now, but the fact so many people have no clear idea is not good for business.

I just called my Dealer who is getting my case direct from UD pushed back to May 28th(next Thurs)! Gotta get those extra redemptions in that they can't fill!

This case I pre-bought over 2 months ago, so I am stuck there, not sure if I will break or sell, but don't think I will buy UD wax anymore(which will be so hard) as they do make great cards and have the best autographs..It all depends in the next few weeks, we'll see if I am heard with my actions... Maybe I am done, I am contemplating it and thinking about getitng out, it's no longer a hobby its, no longer fun..

On the ITG website, it says ITG Ultimate is being delayed until the end of may. I wonder if the ITG lawyers have stalled both releases of Ultimate until the matter is settled in court.

I'm confused about that whole Ultimate name thing. Didn't UD have dibs on it when they released Ultimate Collection baseball way back when? Then, when BAP Ultimate Memorabilia came out, they released the hockey version with the name Premier Collection instead for some reason?

The UD Ultimate Collection does not use the Be A Player name nor is the title held by the Players' Association. The problem with Ultimate is with Trademarks and copyrights. Correct me if I am incorrect, but I believe this has nothing to do with the Players' Association and UD is just trying to use the name and run with In the Game's reputable product.
