It seems like it has been a while since the last UFC card. There seem to be a lot of people picking Chris Weidman to beat Anderson Silva. I've been on Weidman since his UFC debut against Alessio Sakara back in 2011. But until somebody actually defeats him, I can't pick against Silva. That said I would not be at all surprised if Weidman were able to get the win. There some interesting fights on the main card, and the undercard is littered with action fights to entertain the masses.

Main Card (on Pay-Per-View):
Anderson Silva (33-4; #1 Middleweight) vs. Chris Weidman (9-0; #2 Middleweight)
Frankie Edgar (15-4-1) vs. Charles Oliveira (16-3)
Tim Kennedy (15-4) vs. Roger Gracie (6-1)
Mark Munoz (12-3; #6 Middleweight) vs. Tim Boetsch (16-5)
Cub Swanson (19-5; #10 Featherweight) vs. Dennis Siver (21-8; #7 Featherweight)

Preliminary Card (on FX):
Chris Leben (22-9) vs. Andrew Craig (8-1)
Norman Parke (17-2) vs. Kazuki Tokudome (12-3-1)
Gabriel Gonzaga (14-7) vs. Dave Herman (21-5)
Edson Barboza (11-1) vs. Rafaello Oliveira (15-5)

Preliminary Card (on Facebook):
Seth Baczynski (17-7) vs. Brian Melancon (6-2)
Mike Pierce (16-5) vs. David Mitchell (12-2)

Everybody made weight; I am really excited for this one.

It's my cousin's grad party tonight so I'm not sure if I'm even going to get to watch. I tell you though...I'm really excited for...

...Cub Swanson and Dennis Siver. Seeing Cub turn his career and even his life around over the last year has been great. A win over Siver I think puts him neck and neck with Ricardo Lamas for the next title shot at Aldo/Zombie winner. I feel Lamas might get the nod because he's beaten Swanson, but perhaps they'll rematch instead depending on how long the Aldo/Zombie winner will be out after their fight.

I am interested in seeing all five of the PPV fights; I think Cub would need another win if he were to beat Siver tonight before challenging Aldo.

so glad Silva got knocked out he deserved it ...got sick of seeing him act like a douche in the last however many fights

That was a crazy finish. The bar I was at went nuts. Weidman's salary for the fight was $48K and $48K; the UFC wanted to renegotiate before the fight, but Chris was so confident that he would win that he said that he would wait until after he won the title. That is the stuff of lore. That offer from the UFC has no doubt gone up considerably since Saturday.
