I was actually happy with the show. I think this may be the first time they showed all nine fights on the card. Three fights stood out to me...
#3 Gonzaga VS Hendricks
You could hear Gonzaga's hits land so hard it was great! I thought it was funny that Gonzaga stopped hitting Hendricks after he was down because he knew the fight was over, but Mazagatti didn't stop the fight, so Gabriel hit him one more time. You could tell that as soon as hendricks hit the ground, he wanted nothing else to do with Gonzaga.
#2 Jeremy Stephens VS Rafael dos Anjos
I don't know if Stephens got the KO of the night bonus, but he should! That was a great comeback! After he almost had his shoulder ripped out of it's socket, he comes back and uses the same arm to land what I think is the most devestating upper cut I've ever seen. You can see Anjos' eyes roll into the back of his head the instant Jeremy connected with the shot.
#1 Aaron Riley VS Jorge Grugel
My opinion is that this was fight of the night (does it show that I love guys that stand and bang?)! These guys put on a show for a full three rounds, with Riley coming out on top with a Unanimous Decision (all judges scorring it 29-28). Grugel has great BJJ and if he took it to the ground, he probably could have finished the fight in the first or second round. Props to Jorge for not taking the easier win and fighting the tougher fight on the feet.
I knew Lesnar would beat Randy. I didn't want him to, but I knew that's how it would go down. Hopefully we'll get to see a Gonzaga/Cotoure rematch. I wanted to see Stevenson (gotta support the KOTC family!) beat Florian, but Kenny just dominated Joe Daddy. So as much as it pains me to say it, overall it was a good show.
**edit** Hazelett got submission of the night, Stephens got KO o the night, and Riley and Grugel got fight of the night bonuses of $60,000 each.
