Wow this is one awesome card, I will defiantly be chipping in with friends to watch it on the big screen! My predictions in bold!

Light Heavyweight Championship bout: Forrest Griffin vs. Rashad Evans
(Side Note: I say Forrest will win as actually the underdog to win this fight, I think Rashad has Forrest on EVERYTHING except heart, and sometimes that is enough to win a fight, and I think Forrest will pull it off as a upset, even though I am putting Rashad as the favorite in this matchup!)

Interim Heavyweight Championship bout: Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira vs.Frank Mir
(Frank Mir cannot stand up, or do anything to Rodrigo that hasn't already been done, have you seen his fights? He's either destroyed his opponent from the get go, or came back when you thought he was out and done to win the fight!)

Light Heavyweight bout: Quinton Jackson vs. Wanderlei Silva

Middleweight bout: C.B. Dollaway vs. Mike Massenzio

Heavyweight bout: Cheick Kongo vs. Mustafa Al Turk
(I haven't seen Mustafa fight yet, and I have seen two Kongo fights, but seeing those two fights I still am going to favor a fighter I have never seen before!)

Preliminary card

Middleweight bout: Yushin Okami vs. Dean Lister

Heavyweight bout: Antoni Hardonk vs. Mike Wessel
(Wessel is debuting and Antoni's last two fights have been stopped in the first round in like 20 seconds, and the second round both with TKO's, so I'm gonna favor the proven fighter/striker!)

Light Heavyweight bout: Matt Hamill vs. Reese Andy

Welterweight bout: Brad Blackburn vs. Ryo Chonan

I just hope there are some good fights as well as good finishes, unlike the Fight for the troops where I though most of the fights were so one sided it wasnt even funny, although there were some very nice finishes. To me, it seemed like the matches were made so that it would end up like that though. I'll definitely be pitching in to see it on the big screen though!

I just don't think he matches up well with Okami, he is a good fighter, but I just don't think he can take down Okami, sorry :(

Light Heavyweight Championship bout: Forrest Griffin vs. Rashad Evans

I hate Griffin, so I am cheering for Evans.

Interim Heavyweight Championship bout: Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira vs.Frank Mir

I am going with Mir, I don't think he can actually win, I just like him also. Nog is such a good fighter, not many can hang with him.

Light Heavyweight bout: Quinton Jackson vs. Wanderlei Silva

Quinton is my boy, but this is one monkey I do not think he cannot get off his back. Wandy has his number, and is due for a breakout fight in the cage. Rampage's head isn't in the game anymore, he needs a shrink.

Middleweight bout: C.B. Dollaway vs. Mike Massenzio

Heavyweight bout: Cheick Kongo vs. Mustafa Al Turk

Preliminary card

Middleweight bout: Yushin Okami vs. Dean Lister

And not only because Turtlelo says so ;)

Heavyweight bout: Antoni Hardonk vs. Mike Wessel

Light Heavyweight bout: Matt Hamill vs. Reese Andy

Welterweight bout: Brad Blackburn vs. Ryo Chonan

Heavyweight bout: Dan Evensen vs. Patrick Barry

I am 6/8 right now, not bad the only one's I've missed out on are the Hamill fight, and Kongo.

Nice KO by Rampage! Glad to see him being in the great shape he's in and finally getting that monkey off his back about not beating Wanderlei, but this is UFC, not Pride and that's the difference I think!

I am watching it live right now on a big screen at a friends, and we got Mir vs. ARN right now!

yeah, but i didn't see that one coming, I thought ARN was way better than Mir in all aspects, I guess not, the only man to get ARN to a TKO stoppage!

Rashad just won via strikes in the third ROUND!

WOW, but not really I said he had the advantage over Forrest and even said Rashad was gonna win, but I just wanted forrest to that's why I had him over evans, blah!

Sweet even though my picks were off the people I WANTED to win Rashad, Rampage, Mir, and Hamill, all won.

For Rampage the difference is training and being able to pace a match instead of wildly throwing and engaging without a game plan. Ever since coming to the UFC he is way more disciplined that he used to be and I think that is the biggest X factor in his game. If he can get his head screwed on straight I think he is a near unstoppable force at LHW.

I have alot of respect for Mir, and not only because I am following a very similar training routine as he is. As much as I also like Nog, I just wanted to see Mir get a shot at Brock.

As for Forrest I cannot stand that seemingly unintelligent red neck (which is really niced up from what I really want to say). I am always glad to watch him lose to anyone. I like how he jumped off that mat like he was cheated, even though he clearly tapped, and was beat. This guy has no class, he whines and cries (literally) more than anyone I can ever think of.

I went 4/6 tonight. Not one of my best that's for sure!

Way to go Rampage!!! I knew Quinton would pull it off and get the KO. And as much as I hate to say it, it really may be time for Wandy to hang them up. He has suffered 3 vicious KO's in his last five fights, and has only one win in those five. It will be interesting to see what happens. Maybe a drop to Middleweight (185 lbs) for Wandy?

I picked Big Nog to win, but I like Mir. I just thought he would never regain his form after the accident, but he blew me away tonight! I have never seen Mir's boxing look that good and he found every hole Nog opened up and got those shots through. Big props to him for doing what even Fedor couldn't do to Nog in two attempts and get the TKO win.

Hopefully this will set up a Evans/Jackson fight!

Again, I was the only one in the house full of 20 people that was cheering for Rashad. Just like the Liddell/Jackson fight, nobody thought the underdog would win.... except for me. I heard everyone's jaws hit the floor, it was awesome!

I think you hit it right on the nose Mike. With Rampage's KO of Wandy, I think he's gotta be the #1 contender, considering there are some that believe he did not lose to Forrest in the first place.

I picked Mir over Nog and Evans over Griffin, however I wanted Griffin to win, I can't stand Evans unsportsmanlike actions. I hope Anderson absolute demolishes Evans if he moves up a weight class. I thought Anderson walks around over 200lbs in everyday life...could be wrong. Great to see Rampage back in fine form, also another pick of mine. Overall, a great card and it will be hard for the UFC top that list of matches in the future.

Mir already got a shot at Hercules, oops I mean Lesnar, and quickly submitted him, regardless of the few slaps he received. Lesnar has size and athleticism on his side. He lacks a lot of jujitsu and boxing skills. Mir is much more well rounded in all facets of mma and i bet if/when a rematch happens, Mir will dominiate.

yeah I can't stand the way Evans acts sometimes either, and I for one like Forrest! And I can't wait to see the Lesnar/Mir matchup!

Bizzare PPV

Was I the only one that thought the ref's were lost out there?
Jackson knocked Silva out no question but the ref waited for Jackson to get another shot in after Silva was out which resulted in 3 more punches landing. Silva was out and you could see that before he hit the mat. The Evans/Griffin fight also should have been stopped soon, when someone's arms are no longer under there control they are done. It may look like Forest was trying to tap but at that point he was more rubbier then Gubby. Kongo's fight also should have been stopped earlier.

Now the Mir/ Nog fight ended to soon. Go back and watch Mir's fury that ended the fight. None of those shots landed. Do not get me wrong here Mir was winning the fight and looked great doing it. Nog was also going down alittle easy cause he wanted Mir on the mat. Mir wanted nothing to do with going down on the mat with him. Nog has been in how many fights that he takes a beating then beats them in the later rounds when the got nothing left. Also the CB Dollaway/Massenzio fight ended to quickly. CB was tiring from throwing everything he had. He had Massenzio down but Massenzio was still guarding his ears and temples.

Great outings by Mir, Rampage, and Rashad
