For you folks in the US with the benefit...

Much like the Dudley Boyz....this card is set to be broadcast in THREEEEEEEEEEEEEE DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

This looks like Joe Stevenson's last stand (or last call since that's Danny Castillo's middle name.) Win and you're in, or lose and you're cut. I don't care for Stevenson that much, but it sucks seeing a longtime vet flame out, so I'll be pulling for him just a little bit.

Guess I better rush my *** home now after work knowing that the Diabate fight is on Facebook.

Curious Dave...why Weidman over Legionarius? Weidman's largely untested in the grand scheme of things (the people he's defeated don't really make you go WOW) whereas Sakara seems to be coming into his own again after those losses to Leben and Houston Alexander. Granted, he hasn't fought in a year because of family emergencies and sickness, but unless Sakara got more ink and tattooed his eyes shut over the last year, I can't see him not pulling this one off.

I've watched a few of Weidman's fights, and he looks really solid. Good mix of grappling (obviously training at Serra/Longo) and solid striking. He is inexperienced but I think he's a very solid prospect. Definitely a stiff test out the gate facing Sakara; however, I believe it will only take one takedown from Weidman and this fight should be over shortly thereafter. And while I'm picking Weidman I would not be surprised if Sakara won.

We've also seen before it just takes a stiff shot from a Damon Wayans lookalike to floor Sakara too. Given Sakara's track record, it wouldn't surprise me that Weidman won either...but I think Sakara's got it together enough now that he just can't lose tonight.

See you in a couple hours when you're right and I'm wrong  :)

My predictions haven't been the tops thus far on the undercard , so we shall see.

great fight. i can't decide if diego got his face mashed more by bj or more by kampmann

That was a great fight. I don't mind the decision, Kampmann appeared to control the first half, Diego the 2nd half of the right.

I agree. Despite Fightmetric, I thought Diego controlled enough of the second round and the entire third that the decision could have gone either way. Great fight though. About the only thing I didn't like about the fight was Diego's new nickname...and the shaved head. Dude's been training with that camp too long...it's like you can't escape the gym's doors with more hair than Greg Jackson

First off Diego looked like a serial killer psychopath with that shaved head. And it's only fitting that he's gone back to train with Greg Jackson because that decision was a Leonard Garcia special. Wild, winging punches that are catching air should not be rewarded. Please give the judges monitors to watch, because this is beyond absurd now.

And Matt on your point of "controlling the fight" I have to disagree with you. Diego was wildly charging in, and stalking Kampmann; however, Kampmann was landing his punches and circling away. So who was really controlling the fight? I think that it was Kampmann who was effectively controlling the fight as he wanted to.
