The PPV sales numbers won't show it, but I gather for most people that went into that PPV unexcited or underwhelmed by the lack of star power, they went home happy. There were a couple awful fights on that card, and I'm a bit surprised the Werdum fight wasn't stopped at one point for illegal blows to the back of the head (though the outcome was never in question, so why elongate the inevitable I guess?) but it was really no better, or worse than the average UFC PPV.
Rich Franklin never disappoints, and Wanderlei Silva's chin might not be as shot as we thought.
