Ultimate Brunnstrom numbering?

the story is there's 99, as there's no /399 card with a numerator >99. Don't know how they screw it up like that but they did.

Who knows what the story is, but there's only 99 Bruunstrom cards (apparently). Either way I guess you can say the ones /399 are misprint. His Ultimate sig is black ink as well so I have no clue how the /399s were Blue. What could have happened is Bruunstrom started out as /399, he signed a bunch, then they decided to change to /99 and give him an Ultimate Sig so they made him sign some new cards, and didn't change the old ones.

SO:
It could be that there are less than 99 copies /99, and less than 99 copies /399 = 99 total.

OR

It could be that there are 99 copies that are number /99, and 99 copies that are numbered /99 = 198 total.

OR

It could be that there are 99 copies /99, and 399 copies that are /399 = 498 total.

nice.

#3 has been ruled out as there haven't been any /399 cards numbered higher than 99.

I'm betting my money on #2.

Has anyone seen 2 of the same numbered Brunnstrom rookies, one of each /99 and /399?

thank god my shield is numbered /1 and i dont have to worry bout all this nonsense LOL

My read on the article is:

01-48 black ink /99
49-99 out of /99 not released (damaged per UD)
49-99 blue ink /399 (should have been /99 stamped, but UD made an error)
01-48 and 100-399 out of /399 not made.

well they said they made 49-99 just iwth the denominator being /399 instead of /99. I don't think they made the 100-399
