It definitely isn't just you because we know that every product has it's critics. I love the looks of the auto patches so I'm definitely not seeing what you are. These are a strong candidate for PC for me.

Very nice looking set. I like when the athletes have a large area to sign. Yes it looks like Messier decided to go a different route but does it make that card any less attractive? I don't think so.

I agree with Scott on this one. I would rather have a Messier sign his full signature on a place where he is not "supposed to" compared to trying to cram it in over the picture.

Those are beautiful looking cards. Out of my budget, but great cards none the less.

While everything else has been there, done that, those Jumbo Patch autos are real gems, never seen that before, I agree with Jeremy, I could envision one of those being in my PC.

And I am sure they will have additional goodies we don't know of yet. Remember with a double rookie class this set will be LOADED and that Nate MacKinnon's holy grail (arguably) will be in here, 1/1 Auto Rookie Shield.

Oh, and count me in for one of those Gretzky KINGS Masterpiece autos.

Put me in that category as well. Some players have long autos like Mess and I think that really helps the flow of it. Plus I think it will look pretty slick with the reflective foil accentuating the signature!

There is, but the singles are great and the designs are usually very sharp. The last time I hit on ultimate, it was the last year they had the four pack boxes. I think 07-08 and the box was great. Instead of opening, I scan the show and tell forum, youtube, and ebay and it's just as much fun.

I always had tremendous luck with ultimate, in 2007-08 I bought a 4pack box and pulled the Carey Price ultimate Logo shield, and in 2011-12 I bought a single pack and pulled the Cam Ward ultimate Logo shield....
