thanks for a reply, but I isn't it strange? 0 in feedback.. maybe it'll result in a bit cheaper endingprice since some would pass cause of the risk. Hmm I see a titlist /2 of Orr and a awesome ltd logo of ovie I'll have to wait for more info about the guy before I make any moves

Just remember we all had to start somewhere. Maybe he had a different user name and he changed it.
Maybe if you contact him and tell him about your reservations and make an agreement if you do win he will work with you. Can't hurt :)

Yes ofcourse I don't blame him for anything but for me, in my personal opinion I'd rather wait with the heavy listings until I got some feedback and some.. how do you say it... meat on the bones?

I asked him and he said, without making any quotes, that he's been around in the business or hobby for some time and he'll provide a good service. So that's a good start.

lol I just wish I it was here on my desk by now :(
 
yeah i've seen him around, he has some NICE cards though the mispelling of luongo is a bit disconcerting.

hmm...i wonder how he got the card in the first place. it's possible the card was supposed to be produced but it wasn't inserted into packs as UD received all of Spezza's cards back too late. some of his ultimate signatures from the 05-06 ultimate have also made their way into circulation via redemption replacements but a 1/1 shield making it's way into the hands of a collector?

Yeah, I'm a bit concerned about it but I've asked for more scans, I'll run and see if he had mod'ed them

I agree, the ink looks like it's from a totally different pencil then the rest of Ultimate, Marquee A. for example . Some would say it's too perfect or too complete but I'd suggest he might wanted to lay an extra second effort on that sign, after all he collected card himself back then and probably understands this is unique

My question is why the heck is the seller trying to sell a card like that with 0 in feedback? Do you know the seller? Does the card even exist? What's my chances of getting it and so on??

Scared honestly if I were you,... I know that most likely this person would have done their due diligence to understand Ebay. He has nothing to lose on a zero feedback account. Spelling issues aside - might be some 9 year old kid,... who knows. It does look too good to be true. Why risk the $? Just my take. THAT SUCKS!!! Too many red flags,... :(

Yeah I know and that sucks:( ...if it was some powerseller selling it there would been no doubt but still I wanna give it a shot.. I missed the Alfie/Spezza shield and I didn't bid enough on the Heater/Spez so I really need one.

Did I mix it up or aren't you also a Spezzacollector? Do you got a shield of him? I bet if yes and you don't you want it really bad too?

Have you contacted UD to find out where the card came from? I would contact Barry and send him a link to the auction. He can check with the project manager for that product to find out if it was even made, and if it was packed out or not.

thanks for the tip, I threw away an email. hope somebody replies.

Looks like the card has moved a bit, it's good to see others are as gullible as I am.. :laugh:
 
From the words of Barry , the email is forwarded to Karvin and will reply as soon as he hears if the card is actually is on the checklist.

As of now the card is not on the checklist as per my conversation with Barry.
