I hear ya Brian. I think I have at least a case of two of each of those products on pre-order. I guess I need to get an extra box of band-aids to handle all the paper cuts.:p Mike
 
I don't understand releasing Sweet Shot and UC so close to one another, with The Cup to follow shortly thereafter. Either or both of these products gets further marginalized, though my guess is SS comes up short as there is no name recognition for the release.

As I had suspected, UD would be making an effort to have the release of SPA coincide the the Expo - this makes great business sense for all involved. If only they could have done this last year.
 
Guys, realize that all these dates are to a degree tentative and are subject to change at a moments notice. This info is where the "target" release dates are for the upcoming releases. As for The Cup, no official announcement has been made to my knowledge. I did hear a rumor that it might be called Exquisite Hockey this year instead of The Cup, but that's just a rumor..... Mike
 
The Cup (or what ever form it comes in this year) will be produced. That's a given. My original guess of why they haven't annouced it yet still stands: max out sales on already annouced products then BAM....

Yes, dates are tentative but it shows the basic theme of what's to come...at least 4 releases (all mid/high to high end) in 4 weeks.....sigh gonna be so busy in may.

We all know The Cup is coming (I think it will still be The Cup) and the aforementioned is dead on: they won't announce it until they can sell through on other late-season releases. It happens the same way every year with Exquisite Basketball.

Last year I fell for it for some dumb reason, dropped over $2K in one month on Magic Johnson stuff out of Ultimate, and then had to scramble hard when they brought Exqusitie out less than a month later. :o

I shall never be fooled again, you hear me Karvin!:p ;)
 
Ultimate is released on my 33rd birthday. You guys know what you can grab me for it now right!!! LOL!!
 
Seein' as we're fast approaching the release for SPA...

With that being the case we should seein' a bunch of Auctions from HK and the like..

Barrie & Lionel - even when we know the Cup will come out,... do we REALLY have the willpower to wait until the Cup comes out?! My hands get itchy as I need something to break!!!
