Does anyone think this will UD will super load this product like they did with baseball? I am not sure when the license situation is officially going to be announced but I am thinking that they are going to load up the products at the end of their run if that is the case?

Thoughts?

Every time that there's been talk of UD "loading" up a hockey product, it's been pure dung. It'll be the standard Ultimate kick in the sack like usual.

hmmm.. Ultimate baseball was awesome this year...

While the content was aesthetically pleasing, the value still wasn't there. The stuff sells for peanuts for the most part. It single handedly killed the entire market on Griffey autos and put a huge dent in the Jeter auto market as well.

not ultimate. I think it will end up being like exquisite basketball. every card will be numbered to a random number as they will have rushed as many patches and autos as possible.

Alright let me re-position the question. IF UD does lose the license.. what UD product will be loaded up to the gills for the final hurrah in your opinion?

I have never bought a box of ultimate, and am not about to start. If I see some autos I need I can usually pick them up for a fraction of the cost of a pack.

Would never buy a pack of this stuff again. Singles are usually available cheap except for the /99 rookies and really low numbered patches which are next to impossible to pull with the new pack configuration.

I don't touch anything other than the cup ,black and series 1-2. Everything else doesn't hold value very well and is too big of a gamble.

I don't see them loading a product...ESPECIALLY if it might be one their last in hockey.

I mean, why "waste" the patches in 1 hockey product when you can just use them in
your next football or MMA card release (or whatever cards you might produce at the time...I dont even know anymore...lol) Just imagine a Peyton Manning card with a sweet Pittsburgh Penguins "penguin head pacth". Sadly....I could see it happening :)

Will they load it with photo-shoot crap - maybe. But who cares. Still crap.

UD Premier was great.

UD Ultimate is crap. Always has been.

ITG Ultimate 9 is the greatest product EVER!

Is black even that good? I think SPA, Cup, and UD1 and 2 are the only good (consistently) values in the UD lineup. (There are excepts at times)
