Picked up a master case of the new Clear Cut from Upper Deck. Below is what I pulled and my thoughts at the end of this post:

Embedded Endorsements-- All four Embedded were from the same inner case # 2 of this break

Vet
Mark Scheifele 68/99--SOLD

Rookie
Maxime Comtios 94/99
Adam Gaudette 44/99
Michael Mcleod 23/25

1980 Sub set:

Mike Gartner,

Not the auto I would want from this 1990 set

Canvas Numbered Red --- both of these came from the same inner case # 2?

Teuvo Teravainen 39/86
Michael Rasmussen 1/27--SOLD

Canvas Numbered-- both of these came from the same inner # 1

Mackenzie Blackwood 22/25
Martin Broduer 12/25

Sucks that you hit doubles in a case!

Juuso Valimaki

Dennis Cholowski
Dominic Turgeon
Conor Garland
Maxime Comtios
Jordan Greenway

Rookies Numbered

My thoughts:

Cards look amazing and on card autos. Some of the cards had slipped in the sealed holders and I had to bang them on a table to get the card back into the card space in the holder.

It seemed very strange that the second inner case had all the embedded autos and the two red numbered canvas cards. I guess you can say loaded but I would have preferred better collation.

With the size of the checklist it was a bummer to get dupes on two of the rookie autos.

In this one master case break, I got what I consider a "better rookie auto" in each inner case. Andrei in one inner and Miro in the other.

The Tavares was in the first inner case that I broke and I thought you might get a second "inner case hit" in the second inner but zip on that! I guess the Brodeur canvas was the case hit? That in my opinion was a bummer and let down. Not knocking one of the all time great goalies but I expected another inner case hit and that didn't happen.

That's it, What do you think?

And best of luck on your breakage.

Really nice looking cards for sure and I am sure the scanner is not doing them justice. Congrats on the PC his with the Miro.

I am currently in a random break and that might be all I do with this one as it looks like it will be difficult to hit the "good" cards.

Smart to do the breaks as I too believe this is going to be big time hit or miss.

Good luck!

That Brodeur Canvas might be on the better tier of case hits. You could have got a high-gloss of a no-namer.

The cards are great looking, but not much stuff that I collect. I would probably just keep the Brodeur and a Juulsen from a break like yours.

I'm guessing the Broduer and Tavares are your inner case hits. The secondary hits would be the Heiskanen and Svechnikov.

It’s getting to the point that you have to open and list on eBay on opening day to make anything back on new products.

Modern UD definitely has coalition issues. Having opened multiple cases of SP Authentic and Premiere over the last couple years, one half case could have everything in it while the other is practically empty. Had an entire box of SP Authentic without a single autograph from 17-18.
