They are 'lab created' diamonds so I guess they are 'pure'. But yeah, 4 one carat diamonds is never bad to have. Hope the wife doesn't get jealous or try and pry one out. Hahaha.

Is there a link to watch the draft live? I know, I need to get a life? If so can you post it, and I'll watch the fun take place. If not make sure you post how it went as soon as you know. LOL!! Curious to see what you get. :dance:
 
Congrats on the card!

Any idea what players were picked? I want the Jenner bad but if he wasn't selected then it will be sitting at UD for god knows how long.

P.S. you can sell the gally and buy the rest of my Nash 1/1's! :D

Pretty sure thats how it went, 2 people didn't answer their phone calls and got Gallagher and Barkov

Boone "The Goon" was not picked. Chris Carlin mentioned that the rest will be packaged up, and anyone who gets one of these will get one at random just like if you were opening a pack of cards.

Okay, thanks guys for the info. If I recall, the remaining redemptions will be via best player available based on UD's opinion(was in an article). If that is the case, I expect Boone to be lower on the list. I estimate that I need to wait at least 10 more to be pulled and redeemed before I see the Jenner. If it's random like Chris said, I have hope that it pops up sooner, rather then later.

There's a link in post one of this thread that explains it. I was wondering what the quality of the diamonds would be, not top notch, I'm sure. They are suppose to be 1 carat for each diamond.

Another thing that changed with the whole draft was this:

On April 14, Upper Deck will host the Diamond Draft live and broadcast it via the Internet. To build suspense, ping pong balls will be picked in reverse order. To land the top pick, a collector will have to be the last ping pong ball.

That's not how it went at all, so I guess they changed their minds, maybe because only 11 were redemed?
