Upper Deck Premier Question

Why do some people say that this is the first time UD is doing premier in like 6 years? Am I missing something? Are they referring to OPC Premier, because if so, that is not the same thing. Has this set been done before (not as OPC premier) and if so when?

They also did 2003-04 Premier Collection that had ARP's of Stall, Fleury, Horton, Hudler, Bergeron etc..

OPC Premier and Upper Deck Premier Collection are not related at all. Upper Deck Premier Collection debuted in 2001-02 with RC's of Datsyuk and Kovalchuk etc (auto's only, ARP debuted in 2002-03 Nash Spezza etc.), while OPC Premier was a throwback to the original OPC Premier that came out in 1990-91 and had the top RC's of Jagr, Roenick, Nolan, Nedved etc.
