This is the story, back months ago while busting 2016/17, I ripped into a pack and saw the back of a redemption. Who? Was it HIM?????????????????
Hoping beyond hope that it would be Auston Matthews, I slowly turned the card over and saw this name!

Excitement flowed out the door for sure. Redeem the card on May 21st and the wait starts. Will he sign?
Months pass and nothing and since I was not planning on finishing the set, I finally called Upper Deck Customer Service to ask for a replacement.
We all know the drill about replacing cards, not always a pleasant experience for sure. I know people to be disappointed, been there myself. But the rep I spoke with asked me for four or five players I wanted. I told the guy I had enough sense to not ask for McDavid, Matthews or any of the other big rookies or vintage hockey heroes, I told him I live in the Dallas area and it would be nice to get a Dallas Star. Listed Seguin first, Benn second, Klingberg, and then gave the guy a couple names I DID NOT WANT.
Package arrived today and all I can say is
YES !!!!!!!
Beyond great to get the very first player you mentioned as a want and with a beautiful patch and on card auto. Can't beat that.
