Ok well likely you all know my hothead story by now.

Long Story short:
- Got brutally reamed on a replacement
- Called CS and freaked out
- Canceled all outstanding redemptions
- Threatened that if I did not receive fair compensation plus back pay for what I was screwed out of I would be sending the replacement cards back to the Prez of UD, and a letter stating the fact that I will never buy wax again ever in my life as long as UDs name is on the box. Needless to say I will never redeem a card again. Even if it is dual Gretzky/Crosby Auto Shields lol.


Here is the score board so far:

Total BV needed to be 100% satisfied $77 (I told them they could replace it with anything as long as the bv is good. We agreed on the $77 BV as I should note).

Like a bad box of UD I get a Dupe.....Oh well its in nicer shape.

So BV $56 + a Patch Auto Numbered to 10. I think I can safely say I am happy.

However I am not giving UD any praise, they were lucky to pull it out of the fire.

All for trade except the one Ultimate Boyd RC, which I will make a grading decision on later.

I think it's a pretty fair result as far as the BV's go. Of course, when assessing this, some would say you should look at the price you might have purchased the Kipper/Toivo goes - I believe it was much higher as one stage - but at day's end, not a bad set of replacements after all. Congrats!

You are correct I paid more than the $60 BV for the Kipper at the time. UD says that cannot be responsible for the drop in bv, where I countered as said they are directly responsible for the drop. Being people knew that Kipper wasn't signing making the card drop like a stone, plus various other reasons.

However I also agreed that I didn't care about that and if I got $60 in BV I would be content(note not happy).

Plus Boyd has some potential, not that I am keeping any of these cards, unless the one Ultimate can get a BGS 9.5 that is.

man.. UD C/S needs to take refresher course in customer satisfaction 101.

I have recently taken the same avenue as you have regarding shortages within a Goudey baseball case!

The c/S stood on the company line of "on average" I was shorted a sports royalty box topper auto and a buyback goudey from a sealed case! I was told repeatedly to quit whining!.. I spent almost 25K on UD products this year alone. besides redemption replacements and the whole redemption program I was "Fed up". Finally when transferred to a "higher up" I was asked.. what proof did I have that i was shorted.. I politely referred them to my Live case break of Goudey on youtube.. which got the allegations of any dishonesty from my part removed. But overall it left a nasty taste in my mouth!

So "on average" I havent bought or busted any UD product since then.

A dealer rep from UD sent me an unopened box of SPA hockey for my troubles but for whatever reason I still havent budged! and I dont know that I will!
