Ok, had seen the thread here on board that this card won't be produced, even UD stated nowhere I'm getting a replacement card.

According to the letter they included, I received a Jersey card for the long delay.

2001-02 UD Challenge for the Cup Jerseys UCPD Z.Palffy/A.Deadmarsh

Nice. I need this card for my collection, that's good.

Now, onto the replacement for the Ice Script Auto... (a nice looking, hard signed set)...

2005-06 Be A Player Signatures OR Brooks Orpik $8.00

Obviously I think it's fair. The jersey may be a bonus but in some cases esp the dual jerseys were needed to help compensate for the exchange. It might be a bonus, but in this case it helped with the compensation. We are running out of replacement inventory very quickly

Personnaly I agree with Vegas. The Dual is nice, especially if you need it for a set. As far as the auto, I think you lost out a little there. I would have requested a different Ice Script as a swap out, but thats just me.

Totally agree to the quoted here. I couldn't request anything, I didn't even know that I'm ain't getting the Weiss Plexi (if it hadn't been discussed here). The dual is nice, sure, but I'm not really collecting the set. I own about 120.000 cards so I'm lucky I didn't get a duplicate.

Sending back isn't possible, postage for shipping it would be higher than worth of the card. As I could use both, it isn't that bad.

But:

Would anyone out there on this planet trade an Ice Script for a more than common BAP Auto?
Even considering both cards as replacement, nobody would make this deal.

I hope my open Hecht Notable Numbers will be replaced in a better way...
