Company Signs Exclusive Deals With 7 of Top 13 Picks; Including the No. 2 Overall – Kevin Durant
Each year Upper Deck goes above and beyond the hoops competition to land the players everyone in the hobby is talking about. This year is no exception as UD drafted a blue chip cast of players headlined by the Associated Press College Player of the Year from the University of Texas, Kevin Durant (Seattle #2). Durant is joined by back-to-back National Champion Florida Gators Al Horford (Atlanta #3), Corey Brewer (Minnesota #7) and Joakim Noah (Chicago #9). Running the point for the UD team is Ohio State spark plug Michael Conley, Jr. (Memphis #3), doing the dirty work and dropping threes is the Hoyas Jeff Green (Boston #5) and rounding out the celebrated draft class is the versatile Jay Hawk Julian Wright (New Orleans #13).
Each of these amazing athletes will be making their Upper Deck/Fleer basketball debut in Fleer Ultra SE Basketball (SRP $4.99 per 15-card hobby pack and will be available in early September). The young basketball stars have signed exclusive autograph deals with Upper Deck.
