I'm baffled with this.. It says that the card cleared customs and is now currently in transit to destination 10 days and counting

does this mean it still in customs?

heres what it says from tracking number

Date & Time

Status of Item

Location

August 13, 2017, 10:27 pm Processed Through Facility CANADA

Your item was processed through a facility in CANADA on August 13, 2017 at 10:27 pm. The item is currently in transit to the destination.

August 13, 2017, 2:27 am Customs Clearance CANADA
August 12, 2017, 6:22 pm Processed Through Facility ISC CHICAGO IL (USPS)
August 12, 2017, 1:56 pm Departed USPS Regional Facility

I recently had a few of these, both to Canada and other countries, and it seems you get tracking up to departure of origin country, then get the "in transit" after that with no specific info up to delivery. Just my experience, not sure what is supposed to be the process.

From what I've been told, the US tracking number only tracks to Canada but not through Canada.

Yes- No tracking once it hits Canada Customs...I was told that USPS did not renew its deal with Canada Post a few years back. They only update upon delivery...I had one update to delivery over 60 days after it went to customs...
Also, wouldn't upgrade to registered mail to Canada because you basically get the same level of service and tracking.

thanks guys I checked on Canada post and heres what I got

2017/08/13 22:27 MISSISSAUGA, ON Item has arrived in Canada and was sent for further processing.

2017/08/12 18:22 USORDA,USA International item has left originating country and is en route to Canada

2017/08/12 13:56 Item processed

2017/08/12 01:56 USORDA,USA International item processed in originating country

2017/08/11 16:44 60173,USA International item mailed in originating country

what is further processing?

Usually that would just be clearing customs, checking to how much if any duty is required.

The fact this happened on the 13th in Mississauga and it still has not arrived to you in Windsor is a bit suspect. I would contact Canada Post to open an investigation to find the lost package. That request might need to come from the sender though.

This EXACT thing happened to me a while back. Just on a desperation attempt, I went to my local PO (the one that is chosen for me if I'm not home and a package is left to be picked up) and asked if they could check if they had anything for me. Sure enough, it was there. The carrier didn't update the tracking nor did they leave a ticket on my door for me to use to go pick it up.

Might be worth a try.

If it doesn't state released from customs and sent to CP for processing it means Customs still has it (it is holiday season),had this happen a few times with parcels and some took up to 2 weeks and some float through withing a couple of minutes (released from customs and forwarded to CP for processing) and it means it's getting hit for HST/GST and processing charge, mine come through the Chicago Hub then to ISC (international sorting centre) and then to Mississauga.I'd call CP and see if it was released from Customs,as you being in Windsor something is going on.What was value ??
