USPS cant figure out where to send this Panini Redemption

First off, Panini did nothing wrong so please don't blast them. They (lucky for me) sent me an email and most importantly, tracked the card. It's been over a month since they sent it and it's been to Denver (Where I Live) 6 times, Kansas City 7 times and Des Monies once.

The redemption is a Ryan Murray Silhouette Patch out of 25.

Has this happened to you before? What's the longest you've waited for one to show up? Card seems to be traveling the Midwest on a summer vacation.....
 
I had something similar happen to me... not as many times as you have going on. .UGH..

but I ordered some cards on COMC and it took 3 weeks to get here after it was shipped. but before it finally arrived.. it hit 6 different cities here in Michigan before it was finally delivered to me.... rolling eyes!!


Hopefully it will finally land in your mail box soon.
 
holy hell!

i have a card in transit via ebay that, according to tracking, went to a post office about 20 minutes southwest of me. thankfully it's at my local post office today, should be delivered.

best of luck to ya on that one.
 
At least your package is beeing scanned somewhere.

I have a box containng 80+ graded cards gone MIA since April 22nd.

It left the Las Vegas wharehouse a 4:13 am with the other box i have receive, never got scan at the California facility.
 
Calling the USPS is a good idea. My plan was just to watch and see what happens as it's pretty entertaining. I assume it will show up one day.

I had a package once from upstate NY to CA where I am go through Florida and back up to NY and then back to the midwest then to me California. My guess is that my package mistakenly got on the wrong truck/plane.

Curious about this... was it sent "parcel select" or Priority?

It's possible the zip or address is incorrect or illegible and keeps getting bounced back.
 
I had a similar thing happen once with a game worn jersey I bought from Calgary. I had to order it over the phone and it turned out that they misheard and thusly miswrote my postal code.

It resulted in a trip to Edmonton, then back to Calgary, then back to Edmonton, then back to Calgary, back to Edmonton, and back to Calgary before I wrote a message to Canada Post asking WTF? and clarified to them what my postal code was and that I was located in Edmonton and sure enough, the very next day it arrived. Never been so confused as to why an item so close took so long to arrive.
 
Sheesh looks like it changed more addresses than Carl Voss.
 
I had this happen to me with a replacement case that I opened with Panini. The card bounced around between two post offices in Florida before finally arriving to me in Michigan. It took about 2 1/2 to 3 weeks for it to finally arrive. The only thing that I can think possibly caused the problem was that there were bar codes placed on the outside of the envelope that had the panini case #'s on them. Maybe that caused something funky with USPS' process?

I had Reggie Jackson sign a bat for me at the National and sent it home via FedEx. Today I got an email from a friend in Kansas City whom I met at the show and she said my bat safely arrived at her house today!
 
I have a personal story about strange shipping, not as bad as the OP's post tho. I once sold something on ebay to a guy in Hamilton ON, which is maybe an hour and a half drive away. He opted for tracking, which we know is more expensive to Canada than just to USA. It took 3 weeks to deliver it, but with the tracking I could find out why it took so long. Those cards went to Chicago, Atlanta, Puerto Rico, San Diego, and back to Chicago before finally arriving in Hamilton.

Another story of "wrong place, right time" was when a friend of mine purchased an item from Europe. It was a large, arcade-game type thing (one of those bowling games) and it was to arrive to the US on a ship, then a trucking company would take it to his house. At the time, his house was in Depew NY. The truck was to be at his house on a certain day, of course they couldn't garauntee a specific time, so he took the day off from work. They called him when they were on his street, to the tune of "we're about to back into your driveway" so he went out to see them in. There was no one there. They called back saying that no one appears to be home.

Turns out... they were at the same house number and street name... but in Minnesota! :crazy:
