Vancouver Big One Roll Call

We are about ten days away from the Spring Bossa Vancouver Sports Collectors Fanfest - so who is planning on being there?

Bobby and Dennis Hull are signing on Saturday
Pete Mahavolich and Travis Lulay are signing on Sunday

I will likely be up there for the bulk of the day on Saturday to try and unload a whole whack of cards - who else is planning on being around?

I'll be there probably both of the days! Since I'll be missing my 1st spring expo in Toronto in 5yrs... I hope that this satisfies my cravings for a decent show?!

I didnt see how many vendors there were? Any comments and or reviews of previous shows? Should i be getting excited about this show?

And Joe... I too would be interested to see what goodies you have available. Any sneak peaks? you have a table?

Oh don't get me wrong, it IS BC's premier event, it's just that I don't think it compares to an expo by ANY means - perhaps one of the locals who has been to both can confirm this.

You got it - only problem is that I don't have any Bobby Lu's left - let me know if there is anyone else you are looking for and I'll dig through the pile.

Let me know what you are looking for and I will see what I can dig up - some Canucks stuff and then a lot of PC stuff will be going. I will not be setting up a table as I don't have enough to do it by myself but if someone is going and has room or wants to split a table, I am in!

Our "BIG SHOW" is a joke compared to the expo. YOu can be in and out in 15 minutes. That is unless you stop by the HI booth to shoot the s*** with the boys. Thats usually good for 5 or 6 hours

I usually do my walkaround, aprox 45min to 1 hour then chat it up with the HI crew for the rest of the day.

I dont' want to step on the "official" planners for such, but Randy and I were talking about the pre-show breakfast on Saturday at White Spot?

Let me know if I can step on toes and arrange or if someone else wants to take care of that.

Saturday is up in the air for me, looking more like I might head Sunday after I go try and get a 3DS (assuming Blockbuster will have them.)

I was telling the guys I think I promised Laura that I'd take her somewhere on Saturday forgetting there was a card show that day after I was told I wouldn't have to work (since I originally did.)

I won't be there for the fun Saturday night though...it's a friend of mine's 30th birthday.

EDIT: Can probably meet people for breakfast Saturday morning. IHOP again? I wasn't very impressed by White Spot last night.
