Hey folks,
With the great company at the recent "Big One/Vancouver Collector Fest (or whatever it's being called now", I managed to have a great time despite only being there for the show on Saturday and missing out on the after party and Sunday.
As usual, meeting up with the various HI members was the high point of the show as I found the show itself a little lacking. I went in with $500 and spent more at Bruce table on a donation to HI and some IE magazines than I did on anything else.
Here's my show pickups
Christian Ehrhoff 03-04 Black Diamond RC
Alexandre Burrows 09-10 OPC Retro
That was it for PC cards - I also picked up a few traders and a couple cards for sets that friends are working on including a Varlomov YG to kill a set. Thanks Jon!
In addition to the cards, I picked up a few Canucks programs that feature either Stan Smyl or Harold Snepsts as well as this photo (scanned thru a plastic page)
That's Snepsts in the dark jersey on the left from his days as a junior in Edmonton.
My last purchase was thanks to Abby's Sportscards who I picked up a box of 1972 from and here are the cards. Other than they Boudrias (to Randy/Orca Pod), the rest are available.
Autos - Bob Nystrom / Andre Boudrias / Ted Taylor
Blank Back - Eddie Johnston (Summit)
Game Used - Billy Smith (Jersey Gold /10) and Henri Richard (Bossa Show /2)
