Vancouver sports writer Jason Botchford passes away at 48.

I really enjoyed his insight & levity over the years covering the Canucks. The way he used video & social media in his sports writing showed his ability to evolve with the times. The hockey media coverage will never be the same without him. Even Torts was kind enough to recognize his passing.
