Verified Trader,
Wasn't sure where to post this one, if it needs moved no problem.
This is a S&T of my newest card frame holder design & a little background. If you haven't seen some of my framing shame on you, lol.
When I 1st got into card collecting it was to help a friend who collected & was down & out about the death of his father. That was the mid to early 90's & I got hooked quick. I first started collecting Nascar as I was/am a motor head at heart. Then the Huston Oilers moved to town, another hook landed. Shortly after that the Predators started & I found my true sporting love & Hockey is what I collect most of these days.
When auto's & game/race used stuff starting being a big part of newer card issues, my 1st thought was to display things. My 1st displays were yard sticks with a small piece of velcro (sp?) on the yard sick spaced out for screwdowns & another piece on the back of the screwdown. Worked well but I just didn't like the look & I noticed my auto's were fading, some faster than others. After this no more displaying auto's. I've also noticed other auto's (just from a few releases) I have that were never displayed were fading also, nowhere near what the displayed ones were. So word of caution - I wouldn't.
Back to the new frame design. Over the winter I dug out a few of my older Nascar sets I saved & came up with a new idea for a frame that would allow you to view the back as well as the front of your card. The frame below is my 1st, it's not perfect but I learned a few tricks for the next time. These also can be put on a shelf or hung up like a regular frame.
If you've made it this far thanks & as a little give back I'm going to make another as a prize for a Contest I'm hosting around the Stanley Cup Finals so be watching for that soon I have permission from the Boss.
From 1995 Pinnacle - "Trucks that haul" this was the 1st year for Trucks in Nascar & I really liked the look of the cards in hand. 22 years later they have a home, lighting is not perfect right now but you'll get the idea of what I tried to do.

Here are 3 more I'm working on for some specific Hockey sets, the 1st one was dropped onto the garage floor & need some repairs.
