The HHOF is a non profit that relies on donations for the large majority of their displays. They don't have funding that would allow them to buy every key piece of memorabilia they have. When you go there keep that in mind, that place exists to some degree because of the generosity of donors and patrons.
And the reality is those pads won't ever be on display anywhere again because they don't exist. I respect Price's right to do whatever he wants with those pads but that's the truth of the matter.
