I would say those slabs were just glued together and not ultra sonic welded.

I know some chinese website sell empty slabs now. Probably where this company bought those slabs.

FWIW, PSA slabs until recently were just as easy to pop apart. A quick twist of the wrist usually did it.

The owner of the grading company released a statement re the video. Claiming those were mistakes and they will fix any slabs with that issue free of charge.
