I am looking into purchasing a 1948 Bowman Stan Musial card. I have looked at many, but haven't quite found the right one.

The most important thing I am looking for is centering. I prefer a nicely centered card w/rounded corners over a poorly centered card w/sharper corners. If I did consider a poorly centered card, I would be more open to one that is good left/right, but off top/bottom. I really struggle to to find appeal in poor left/right centering. I prefer no creases over a small pin/thumbtack hole. Tape marks on the front are a no-go, but the back I would consider. The biggest thing is that it cannot be altered. It takes away appeal to me, even if it is graded, if the card is altered.

I am interested in other takes on vintage?

Also, anyone have a line on a nice Musial?
