Patrick Roy BTP Collector,
I am working my way through a friends collection and he has a couple of binders of "vintage" cards from both hockey and baseball. Cards are not mint and range from VG to Poor.
Here is a look at what sets are in there.

Hockey (approx 500 cards):
77-78 (148 cards)

78-79 (37 cards)

79-80 (13 cards)

80-81 (146 cards)

81-82 (97 cards)

82-83 (26 cards)

83-84 (19 cards)

84-85 (3 cards)

88-89 (8 cards)

Baseball (mostly OPC some Topps) (approx 400 cards):
77 (7 cards)

78 (9 cards)

79 (5 cards)

80 (81 cards)

81 (18 cards)

82 (27 cards)

83 (45 cards)

84 (45 cards)

85 (22 cards)

86 (11 cards)

87 (18 cards)

88 (44 cards)

89 (72 cards)

I do not know enough about baseball to say if there are any gems in the mix but for hockey you are not going to find the key RCs from the sets.
So to my question, does this stuff have any value or should he just keep it for sentimental value?
Thanks,
Scott
