Wanna Know How Much Players Get Paid From Card Companies?

I am not a Baseball fan but that is kinda cool. It is one of those item that a collector doesn't come across that often.

I wonder how excited the players are to have these hitting ebay with the address and bank account numbers on them. I know I wouldn't be thrilled. Cool things to add to a collection though.
 
LOL! I guess the auctioneers lied as they announced in front of everyone that the bank account numbers on the checks would be augmented with Sharpie to obliterate them....lol.
I would also say that those check amounts were likely for several years at a time as many of the athletes did not even get paid at all because Fleer cheesed out of paying for as long as they could and ended up bankrupt.

Apparently Alonzo Mourning has his checks mailed to him in care of movies from the 80s. I wonder if Fleer sent him a check c/o Karate Kid III too
