Anyone here have any insight as to how close Varlamov is coming back, or if they will sit Neuvirth to let him back? Trying to figure out what I should do with my draft team, and not sure how to proceed without more info. Neuvirth has been playing really well, but Boudreau has been known to shake things up even when they're going great. Any help is appreciated.

from what i've read, varlamov is close to coming back, if not back already. just have to keep your ears and eyes open

Yeah, he was supposed to dress yesterday, not sure if he had nor not though. Don't have much time to decide though, lol, lineup needs to be set for tomorrow. Throw a dart and hope for the best I guess, haha.

Varlamov dressed yesterday, but I'v heard the Caps are very high on Neuvirth and are going to give him every chance to prove himself as the starter. That being said, it may be time to give him a rest too....

Varlamov was taken off of IR and dressed as backup for the Nashville game. He may start the next game but no word yet. My guess is starts will probably be about the 50/30 range, depending on how each is playing and injuries throughout the season.

I would trade varlamov. He is a young guy and everything but I have all the faith in the world with Neuvirth. I think he is a hell of a goalie and will be their number one for a long time. I don't know who would want Varlamov at this moment but I would not be dissapointed to see him go. Like I said it's not that I don't like him, I just really really like Neuvirth.

Going with 2 goalies like Varly and Neuvirth is fine by me.As long as theo (score a million on) is gone matters more to me this season lol.I like my teams chances this year with a few fine tunings down the road.

I've been impressed thus far watching Neuvirth. The Nashville game, he was the reason that they were able to come from behind and win that one.

I was going to say something very similar to this - I have watched a good chunk of their games so far this year (free NHL ticket!) and Neuvirth has been outstanding. I am sure that Varlamov will take a couple of starts here over the next couple of weeks but it's going to be hard to rip the starting job away from Neuvirth - we shall see.
