Had spoken with a gentleman a couple months ago about him having some unopened wax. He came back today after I returned from the Expo and we made a deal for this:

It's a full box of 48 untouched 1977-78 WHA O-Pee-Chee packs! Not the greatest set, I know, but really looking forward to seeing what sort of offers we get on this one!

If you have any interest, drop me a line!

Check bbcexchange.com on anything older for wax. Best wax dealer in the US.

That's not a very well thought out name lol. I've never heard of it and i had to check the website on my phone out of fear of finding something i'm not supposed to on a work computer.

I sold some vintage opc wax to them only 87/88 but was VERY pleasantly surprised by the price they offered

For those who need the clarity, BBC is a term used in a few pornography genres to describe the male performers who are of "African" ancestral background. :P

I too, have always found it weird that they are Base Ball Card Exchange - Baseball is usually just one word. Oh well.

There's a nice Howe, and Hull in the set, so not that bad if ou hit a couple of those each. Only 66 cards in the set, so should be lots of doubles, if the packs are unsearched. I have no idea how you guys can tell if they are resealed, or not?

I am frothing at the lips... such a cool piece of hobby history! I am sure you'll do well with that!

Awesome and so tempting to open lol. I love wrappers sealed or open. If I got my hands on something like that still in the box I would never be able to open any, displays so cool in the box. Congrats on the purchase. There is at least one on eBay if you want to see it as a comparable.
