Upstanding Member,
I've got this over in the Design Shop so be sure to check it out throughout the season!
I've been thinking of doing this for a couple years now. I always say "I'm too busy", or "I'll lose focus"....some excuse to throw this whole project to a grinding halt.
NOT THIS YEAR!
I'm going with a simple design to make it less time consuming to make. We'll see how it goes.
So, without further delay, I present to you, the sample card for my new set:
The Year In Cards 2009/10
The goal? To pick ONE PHOTO from each night's NHL action and create a card to commemorate that date. One event to represent that evening. And at the end of the year, a nice "e-set" of cards to remember the season by.
My task for this will be to prep 7 cards (Monday thru Sunday) and then post them for the following Monday morning. This will be a good start since the first week's worth will only be 4 cards.
I might tweak the design slightly before releasing the first batch, but we'll see how it goes.
Should be fun!
Brett
ps. I do realize that the date on the Fleury cards are wrong. I was just doing some tests and wasn't going for accuracy.
