Went to Blue Jackets practice today....

Hi everybody..

So I took the morning off of work today to go to Blue Jackets practice. I've been to many before but it seemed way cooler this time.

When I used to go a lot back in the day, the players only signed after practice and you werent allowed to get down by the glass...you had to sit in the stands...No big deal...I thought it was great. Well, I get there today and what do you know...the players signed before and after practice and you could hang out and watch practice with your nose up against the glass if you wanted. Wow...that was excellent. Next time I go I will take my camera and get some shots.

So being the autograph hound I am....I picked up a few things...



First up, the one and only "Could have been a contender for the Calder, but I got hurt" auto'd puck of Derick Brassard

Next in line is a mini helmet signed by a lot of the players including...Vermette, Murray, Torres, Chimera, Novotny, Malhortra, Dorsett, Hitchcock, Boll, Brassard, Backman, Voracek, Filatov, Methot, Russell, Tyutin, Peca, Gratton, Rome and Williams....missed a couple of the bigger guys, but no worries...I'll get them later.

I agree...the atmosphere was great and they practiced hard. There is a good vibe surrounding the team right now.
