What do I do?

So I won a graded auto card /30 on the bay. It was a good price for what I wanted. I pay the guy promptly. Then 3 days later he says that the post office returned the package to him, and that my address was unreadable, and that the Grading case was cracked. He then refunds my money.

So I turned around and said, fine, send me the picture. The guy texted me a response from Daytona on Saturday saying, Ill be back Monday and send you one. So now its Wednesday and I've now sent an email a day asking for a picture, none has shown up yet.

Personally, I could care less if the graded case is cracked. I could just get it regraded.. So I wanted the picture to see if the card was actually damaged. I believe this guy is just trying to screw me cause he knows he could have sold it for more elsewhere..

What should be my next steps?

Not much, really. Regardless of whether you feel he's not being straight with you he refunded your money promptly. You don't really have much with which to pursue a grievance.

This one stinks of too many possible back alley tactics, but Steve is right--he refunded your money. At this point there's probably not much chance in getting a pic of the cracked case, so just move on. I realize it's more about the principle of the matter, given your lackadaisical responses, but I'd just move on.

he apparently got it back from the PO that way.. Thats his story..
