Hi All!

I'm headed to Kenora, Ontario for a wedding (June 17th till the 24th) and flying into Winnipeg.

Looking for suggestions in Winnipeg or Kenora or anywhere between:
(1) Anything hobby related? Stores? Shows? Flea Markets, etc?

And not hobby related, but why not ask:
(2) We're travelling with 3 young kids (ages 3-6)... anything fun for kids?
(3) Any good eats?

Thanks guys!
Lu

Make sure you go to Joe Daley’s store, great to talk to, and fun to peak in the display shelves.

Cancentral has a great supply of 2005 and up wax as well as higher end singles.

Superstars you just missed, they just closed up,after 35 years in business

I’m checking if there is a show during that time

Pacman

Edit this is all Winnipeg!

If you are in Winnipeg on the weekend, the Mulvey Flea Market can be hit or miss.

If they’re in town, I also highly recommend checking out a Winnipeg Goldeyes game.

As far as restaurants, that’d depend on what you’re into. I’m a big fan of Headingly Grill. It has some sports memorabilia on display (owned by a fellow collector) and has a lot of very good food options.

That's perfect! Thanks Pacman! Looking forward to checking out those 2 places. Sorry to hear about superstars though.

If you hear anything about a show, please let me know.

Thanks again!

Thanks Tim! I love flea markets! Will have to check it out. And the goldeyes have a homestand, so might have to check it out too!

And food, we pretty open to anything. Especially anything mom and pop, like you would see on diners, drive-ins and dives! So i'll put Headingly on the list!

Thanks!

There is also Thirstys Flea Market, it also can be hit or miss.

Goldeyes games are perfect for the family. Concessions are very well priced Compared to the two other teams in town. It’s always makes for a fun night out.

Headingly grill would be right up your alley, they have a bit of everything and the foods phenomenal.

If you have any other questions or need any other help, shoot me a message anytime!

Lower Level Sports would also be worth checking out. I don't see that mentioned above. :) Probably the best selection of oddball vintage boxes (most are retail though) and just some quirky and neat stuff. Warning: Cash transactions only.

Beauty! Thank you! Will put it on the list.
