I knew it was getting bad but didn't realize it was that bad.

That could be it and it also could be that many sellers/auctioneers are on holidays till Jan 5 most likely. Only a few saps like me were working and listed some auctions. HA.

I've noticed this trend over the past couple of years and as previously mentioned it's due to the free listings. Sellers are putting up base cards and low-priced items and absolutely flooding search results with them. As a player collector who has 80-90% of these cards, eBay has now become quite difficult to search on. I typically have to filter through 2-3 pages worth of BIN base card listings in hopes of spotting something I actually need.

I tend to list bin/Bo in order to be selective on who I sell too, so far I have had zero issues in the last 2 years, "knocks on wood"

I too have noticed this trend...i myself love the auction and all my listings start at .99$. I also only buy auctions and where as before i could blow a couple hundred on a day....it just not the case anymore. I search the players or sets that i am interested in and wait on the snipe, as i am old school with that too and do not use a program to snipe. The only place where i buy that i dont auction is here.

There is a filter at the top of the search results page for all items or auction only.

The free offer ends tomorrow night. The max listing is capped at 10 days though.
