What older insert would you like to have...

Bored....lol

I just agreed upon buying the Pro Set Stanley Cup Holo from Paul and it got me to thinking and searching out older inserts. Thinking of some of the early inserts from the 90's that I once owned or always wanted but never purchased. Over the past few years I have picking up a fair amount for pennies on the dollar of what they once sold for. Some of the fun ones that I have picked up are Pinnacle B, Nifty Fifties, Lindros Press Conf card, Bure, Potvin and Fedorov UD French rookies etc...

The question is what older insert would you love to have? Who knows we might see some here that other members have available FT/FS.

For me

Lindros 94 Score Checkit and Franchise.

I used to have a 99-00 Upper Deck New Ice Age Martin Brodeur insert when I was a kid but I traded it to a friend and I've been hoping to get it back ever since. I guess I could get one on eBay any time but just haven't got round to it .

the stanley cup hologram is top of my list as well, others I liked were the premier special effects & the check it sets were cool too.

If anyone is looking for 93-94ish leaf/donruss inserts I have quite a few tucked away for cheap

It's funny how these "old" inserts take us back to our early days of collecting. I remember ripping through boxes and boxes of Pro-Set looking for the elusive Stanley Cup hologram. I picked one up a few years ago and have had it as my avatar ever since.

I also went back and picked up the Pinnacle B set a while ago.

Another insert set that comes to mind at the moment that I would like to add is the Pro-set CC set.

Hm. I've fleshed out my stash of older shinies, but one project I haven't even considered is the old Topps Home Grown inserts from 95-6. Why haven't I bothered? 'Cause they gone. G-O-N-E. Nowhere to be found.

I was a big fan of the 98/99 Upper Deck Inserts, with the Quantum Parallels......Not for everyone; some parallels annoy me, others like these..I really liked.

This is a really cool topic. I wish I had an answer but sadly I don't. I echo Jeremy in that I picked up a few stanley cup pro set holograms which was THE chase card back in the 90's

Good topic, especially since I just recently posted the beginnings of my "recapture the '90s" insert wantlist thread. Lots of sets I am building or want to build, but as far as one insert I would have to go with the 98/99 UD Frozen in Time Quantum something or other Kurri x/25. Will probably never find that one.

I recently just picked up the Score Olympic Hero's Team Canada set. I remember pulling the Lindros and Burke, the LCS that was around at the time offered my big money for that Lindros. I sold it because hey, what 12 year old couldn't use $80 that his mom and dad don't know about? I didn't pull one ever again.

I've also just recently started to put together the first Pro Set CC set with Falloon, Niedermayer, The Draft Floor and The Mask.

Recently I picked up my first Pinnacle B cars and I've toyed with the Team Pinnacle series and would love to get the Stanley Cup holo.

But I think the ones I want most are the Skybox redemptions of Roebuck and (ugh) Blaine lacher. As I recall the Lacher was a motion card and jr was a card coin combo
