I am leaning one of two ways:

2001-02 Topps Archives Autoproofs

or

Pretty neat looking custom card...that he shouldn't be selling.

Ask him to scan the back of the card.

The Archives Autos were stamped with gold foil on them...and didn't have the white space for the auto. This looks like a custom to me.

I have never seen one so that is why I was shooting from the hip on the first one.

I'd have to second this as well.

Notice no Sabres logo or mention of "Sabres" on the card? Makes me think it was done by a company without NHL rights. So the Bossa theory might be bang on.
