So having some Ebay issues and I will try to make this as simple of a read as can be.
I sold a SPX auto jersey card.
Card was paid for (paypal)
Card was Shipped.
Buyer receives card send me message:
"thank you for sending me this piece of garbage. You will be receiving negative feedback"
So I think oh great, well a few days pass an no negative so I send him a message:
"Sorry to hear you are not happy. Is there an issue with the card?"
Then I get this in return:
"The scan or photo you used in your listing does not show the very top of the card-the area of the card that has chipping on it. Request refund"
So I figure well this isnt as bad as I thought maybe I can work with the guy. I'm 100% there was no chipping so if I lose a few bucks getting the card back no big deal.
here's what I send:
"woudl it be possible for you to send a few scans over of the card and the affected area?"
And todays response from him:
Sorry, don't have a scanner-wouldn't send scans if I did. Card was protected inside hard plastic inside a bubble mailer. It's pretty simple-if you dont want to take card back you will receive negative feedback"
So that is where it is at now. not sure what my next step should be. I have a feeling I will receive negative feedback almost no matter what. And I will probably be lucky to get the card back, and if I do get it back I bet there would be more damage to it then just chipping.
So I ask of all of you, what would you do?
Here is a link to the original auction, obviously the scan is 100 % and the top is right up against the scanner so im not sure if any %age of the top would or could have been cropped off but without scans from him unable to compare makes a big difference.
