Whatever happened to Barry Beck

I am here late at work and decided against busting some UD Edmonton stuff online to pass the time. Instead I decided to figure out where the heck did Barry Beck ever end up. He was a player I liked growing up. I was shocked to find that he lives in Honk Kong..

Ah yes, the big, bad, New Westminster Bruins.

Memories of Queen's Park Arena, and some of the awesome players that team produced.

Games at QPA were a definite experience.

Thanks for bringing back the memory, Ameet.

One of only two teams to go to the final of the Memorial Cup 4 years in a row, winning two (Edmonton Oil Kings won one in the early 60s).

I met him about 7 years ago at the BC hockey hall of
Fame in penticton when he got inducted. Maybe 8 or 9. Can't remember. Definately a class act. Crazy info now that he is in hong kong

Ask Don Cherry what he thinks of Bubba Beck from their days in Denver. During practice he would fire pucks towards Blue just to annoy Cherry.
