What's the deal?

Looks fishy...Id say shilling...just look at the totals...who bids 69.95 if u wanna win?...looks obvious to me, but you never no...there are some weird ones out there..lol

My first guess was shilling but if you look at his bid history on completed auctions he does bid on a majority of Ranger items and he seems to bid the same way. No pattern as far as sellers go also. He's bought from guys like North of 7 and other's that look familiar. I'd say he's just an oddball bidder...

I dunno, mabye it's like catching a potential serial murderer on his first kill. You know what I mean? He may be worth keeping an eye on. ;) Mike

Looking at what he buys - it is a lot of autos, especially of retired stars.
His winning bids are across the board from a lot of different ebay sellers in different geographic areas.
I'd say more of a set collector - that just plain wanted that card.
Also note that he was the opening bidder I believe - shillers do not usually open the bidding on their own auctions.

Also just a note on the bid amount of $69.95 - I will often use a number in .90 cent range if I am bidding in the last seconds - I have won plenty of auctions by less than the standard $.25 $1.00 and so on by being the final bidder at the same time as another with a bid amount a few pennies higher.

looks like someone who was feelingfor a winning bid to a certain level.
Walked away,
Thought about it more,
wanted it more thant hey though, came back and tried again, but just fell short, prolly didn't want to justify 70$ on it heh.

You guys are probably right. Mabye I am just being a little paranoid. Mike

Hey Mike, better safe than sorry. There's a lot more shilling going on then most people think, including myself..Never hurts to throw it out there and ask some opinions..:)
