BAP Authentix sold autographed pictures, jerseys etc. I think there might have been some connection to ITG when they were licensed.

I know they did a redemption program with I believe 02-03 BAP Signature Series, where if you collected so many points (I think it was 500 or 1000 or something) you could redeem them for a special autographed piece, whether it was an 8x10 or jersey or something. I got an Olaf Kolzig autographed jersey.

Now that sounds like a sweet jersey.

Thanks for all your feedback fellas, now my next question. Is it worth $38.50 delivered? I dont collect anything else except cards FYI other than the 1 gamer I own. I see a couple other 8 x 10’s that I wouldnt touch wether its because of a mediocore photo or autograph.

UPDATE: I just hit the BIN.....I like the crisp photo used and his old style autograph is real sharp. This ones been on my watch list for a long time, seller only recently dropped his asking price more than half his original. I see a recent sale in January with a sloppy autograph and a sub par photo IMHO that sold around the same price.....Now, I need to find his 2001-02 Bowman YoungStars Autograph Puck.

Does anyone know what year this 8x10 was released?

If it's a limited photo release or something similar in a sense, then I would say you made the right choice in going for it. Congrats! Makes for a great extra additions to your PC.

I'm the same way with photos usually, and I don't touch them. But a few times I have if the item is really unique, even if it's not a card.

You are correct! In packs of 02-03 BAP Signature Series, there were points cards, if I remember correctly. There was a list of players (8X10's) on their site, and once you had enough points for the player you wanted, you sent it in, and they sent you the signed photo. I remember that was all I could muster, but if there were bigger prizes like a jersey, I never saved anywhere near enough points. It took me a while to get enough, and when I finally did, I was only able to get the Shanahan picture, which I still have, as the best ones went first. If not mistaken, there were 50 of each, but that is only a foggy memory on my part. Could have been only 25 of each?

I remember those cards. I remember they had like extremely rare 100 point cards, and those went for a pretty penny on ebay. I got the vast majority of my points from ebay at the time, and it wasn't cheap from what I can remember.
